My family has called the New York Hudson Valley home for nearly six years, and the longer we are here, the more we fall in love with all the wonderful treasures this area has to offer. From breathtaking views atop scenic mountain trails to delicious farm-to-table food, this region is truly a special place.
This summer, the Hudson Valley will become even more of a hot spot with the opening of LEGOLAND New York.
Conveniently located in Goshen, N.Y. — just 60 miles from NYC — LEGOLAND New York will include seven themed lands, such signature rides as “The Dragon” and “LEGO® NINJAGO® The Ride,” as well as new experiences like the global debut of LEGO® Factory Adventure ride.
I am thrilled to have a world-class theme park so close to my home, and look forward to experiencing all the fun, thrills and adventures of LEGOLAND with my two children. Keep eye on my blog as well as my Instagram and Facebook accounts (both @maybeillshowertoday), for pics and videos featuring our time at LEGOLAND this coming summer.
Until then, enjoy this video from Merlin Entertainment (owner of LEGOLAND New York), and get a sneak peek about all the incredible rides and attractions coming to the Hudson Valley.
My family is eager to enjoy a fun-filled summer, while still being mindful of the health and safety of ourselves and those around us. While all activities come with some risk, we feel confident about visiting LEGOLAND this year. LEGOLAND New York is following CDC and local guidelines to ensure all guests can safely enjoy their time at the park. Health and safety policies include contactless booking, temperature screenings, masking and distancing. In addition, LEGOLAND New York will be a cashless resort – all transactions will occur via credit/debit card, or other contactless payment options.
As my kids count down the days until summer vacation, I will count the days until LEGOLAND officially opens and we can experience the fun in our own back yard.
