   Great advice. I especially like the “don’t assume the parents aren’t doing anything” tip. I use this frequently. If our kids are behaving inappropriately and I have the ability to ignore it, I will. Especially, if the tantrum is simply to draw attention. No attention? No tantrum. Of course, it may take 5-10 or 20 minutes for the kid to realize he’s not getting what he wants.
